Throwback on Mille Pô's residency at 104 Paris
A week of carnavalesque work
Mille Pô is a sound and musical creation that brings the carnival spirit to life in all its festive, subversive, and liberating power. Through an explosion of sounds, the pieces invite listeners to immerse themselves in a joyful and irresistible cacophony—a true invitation to celebrate. An orchestrated, spatialized din blending songs, shouts, a wild fanfare, bursts of free jazz, wailing sirens, horns, cowbells, and electronic objects. A living, noisy, joyfully chaotic mass: music as tumult, as a collective cry.
The project was in residence at 104 Paris in early March. The artists were able to continue working on their costumes as “second skins,” all within a musical universe of revelrous noise. Get a sneak peek at the costumes currently in production!
Videos presenting the project are coming very soon to give you a better sense of this grand celebration.
