In co-production with Résonance Contemporaine.
Labyrinth of a line is a live vocal and electroacoustic piece based on the eponymous text by Lionel Marchetti.
At the heart of the audience, two "sound makers" and two singers. The electroacoustic sounds and voices are spatialized around the space, creating an immersive sound experience for the audience and a sense of intimacy with the musicians.
The artists construct a "concrete" composition in the sense that Pierre Schaeffer understands it (from sound material to composition), rather than an abstract one (from composition to performance). Excerpts from the text are read, spoken, sung, deconstructed, and reconstructed... and the music is created in the moment of the concert.
