Steamboat Bill Jr. is a 1928 American silent film directed by Buster Keaton and Charles Reisner.

At the end of his studies, young William joins his father, a somewhat rough captain of a steamboat on the Mississippi River. Appearing rather frail, he doesn't seem to fit in this harsh world. To make matters worse, he falls in love with the daughter of his father's main competitor. The final cyclone scene is etched in the memory of all cinephiles, featuring possibly the most dangerous stunt in cinema history!

For this Cadet d'eau douce, Actuel Remix created a truly original score by blending minimal and ambient techno with contemporary music. A precise composition "melts" contemporary music samples into the rhythmic engine of techno music. The resulting remix advances with the action, interacts with the film, and creates a playful and lively accompaniment to the visuals. The modern musical treatment of this ciné-concert allows a younger audience to (re)discover this burlesque silent film, which is both surprising and astonishing.
