Formed in 1993, L’Effet Vapeur (Jean-Paul Autin, Xavier Garcia, Guillaume Grenard, Alfred Spirli – members of ARFI) has toured stages across France and around the world with its inventive and exuberant music. Following the success of Bobines Mélodies (over 200 performances), the group is adapting its latest repertoire RING in 2023 for young audiences, under the title (d)RiiiiNG.

Virtuoso multi-instrumentalists and sound-object manipulators, the musicians combine traditional instruments, electronic devices, and repurposed materials to create a sensory experience that is playful, poetic, and offbeat. Musical gestures become a spectacle in their own right.

(d)RiiiiNG emphasizes play, surprise, and visual imagery: a carousel of suspended toys, sound cards, instrument battles... The staging unfolds as a poetic narrative, supported by meticulous scenography (lighting, costumes, set design).
