La Souplesse de la baleine
A wordless musical theater show for all audiences, written and performed by Alfred Spirli and Jean-Marc François.
A conductor, a true alchemist of sound, works diligently to extract music from a jumble of found and original objects. From this musical and visual whimsy emerges a series of skits led by his quirky, inventive assistant. Amidst this chaos, mechanical animals transformed into theater characters appear, along with a landlocked sailor, giant insects, and a virtuoso dancer….
This ode to recycling culminates in a "toy symphony," an attempt to build a pyramid of automata, and the appearance of a four-legged hybrid human being. But why "La Souplesse de la baleine"? You’ll find out by experiencing this extraordinary show!
